On May 9, 2023, Governor Joshua Adamson appointed Lola Evans as the 117th Chief Judge To Mesa's 16th Circuit Court. She Will Begin Her Tenure As Chief Judge On June 15th After A Formal State Senate Confirmation Hearing. She Will The District's 117th And 15th Female Chief Judge.
